Not much, I was just so excited to see DLP art on Deviantart. I didn't look at the date it was submited but I assume it was a while ago. How are you?

I'm alright.

I think I did that piece last year, we were about to get our charter and were voted the colony of the year or something. Everyone was looking up to us, and we were going to host the spring regional conference.

Too bad it didn't pan out.

I just realized it wasn't listed as a colony or chapter any more. I'm sorry to hear that. I also didn't realize that itw as so recently that it didn't go through. Not to gush, or changed the subject suddenly, but I still very much appreciate your artwork and am very impressed by it.

Well it would have gone through, we were voted colony of the year and were generating a ton of good press, but the higher ups kept fucking with us, for example they rejected our entire re-charter because of two or three piddly little things and declared that this drawing you love so much was a copyright infringement.

So I'm not entirely upset that it didn't work out, though I do value my time in the organization and the lasting friendships I made. But we all realized although our bonds of brotherhood were strong, they didn't extend to those in charge (who were also getting our money), which is a sucky feeling.

I hope you have a better experience.
